Our Lady of Lourdes School is fortunate to have extraordinary spiritual and financial support from Msgr. Edward J. Filardi and our parish families, which are committed to providing an exceptional faith-based education for our children.
You will find here an overview of our admission process, tuition rates, and financial assistance. To introduce new families to Our Lady of Lourdes School, we invite you to browse our entire website, read our brochure and handbook, and attend our annual open house, usually held in January. Admissions
We invite students of all races, colors and creeds to join our school, which teaches children from pre-kindergarten through grade 8.
A $350 REGISTRATION DEPOSIT PER FAMILY MUST ACCOMPANY APPLICATION FROM NEW FAMILIES. This deposit becomes non-refundable upon enrollment and includes:
- $100 Registration/Processing Fee
- $200 Book and Technology Fee
- The additional $50 represents the initial application new families must submit before they are accepted.
FOR EIGHTH GRADE STUDENTS: Add $100 for Eighth Grade Graduation Fee.
HSA FEE: $150 HSA fee is due by September 1, 2009. Make checks payable to OLOL HSA.
FOR 4-YEAR OLD PRE-K STUDENTS, A $500 DEPOSIT PER CHILD MUST ACCOMPANY APPLICATION FORM: This fee becomes non-refundable upon enrollment, secures a Kindergarten spot and will be applied to the first semester tuition of Kindergarten.
Students transferring from other schools must include all reports cards and standardized test scores with their applications. All incoming kindergartners will be tested in June prior to beginning Kindergarten.
Children entering kindergarten (all day at Lourdes!) in September 2009 must be five years old by September 1, 2009. Three and four year olds attend the Little Group program. For three year old children, available choices are three or five days, mornings or all day. Children who turn four by September 1, 2009, attend the all day Pre-kindergarten program. When more students enroll for a class than there are spaces available, we will use the following heirarchy to help us determine who will be accepted and who will be placed on the waiting list:

The tuition contract must be signed by CONTINUING families and by NEW families that have been officially accepted at Lourdes.

THOSE REGISTERING FOR PRE-KINDERGARTEN SHOULD USE THE FIVE FULL DAY LITTLE GROUP TUITION
Required Volunteer Hours
In addition to paying tuition, each family is required to complete 20 hours of service to the school and our children each school year. Families will be billed $20 per hour for each volunteer hour not completed.
Financial Assistance
Limited financial assistance is available based on need and at the discretion of the Pastor and the Parish Finance Council. Application forms are available from the school office and should be submitted at the time of registration.
