We had a beautiful day for our first Open House of the year, and we had a team of fantastic parent volunteers and outstanding 8th grade tour guides. We had wonderful new families come to see what OLOL is all about and they were all very impressed with their 8th grade tour guides! We are so thankful to the entire school community of parents, staff, administrators, and students who made this day a great success. It is always a great day when we can share with others the incredible things we are doing at Our Lady of Lourdes.
This week OLOL families received our Annual Fund information. We are excited to kick off the Annual Fund for the 2021-2022 year and ask that you prayerfully consider what your family can contribute to our campaign this year. We would like to have 100% of our community support the Annual Fund, all donations are important and no gift is too small. See our website for information and links to donate: Annual Fund.
May God go with you,
Updates & More Information:
This is the time of year in a school when the calendar seems to fill up with so many events, so I wanted to send a brief overview of what the rest of October and some of November and December look like at OLOL.
October 18: 8th grade Bake Sale in support of Breast Cancer Prevention & Treatment; all items will be ONE dollar, please send cash with your students on Monday (a marked envelope helps with younger classes). Thank you.
October 19: Donuts for Dads
Please join us for coffee & donuts prior to and after our morning prayers and announcements on the field. We will start prayers at 8:10 and would love to have our Dads, Granddad, and other family with us for special prayers and petitions in honor of our dads. Then we will have time to be together with our dads outside, enjoy a donut, and you can even get a picture taken by Mrs. Crandlemire. Our morning together will wrap up by 9am.
October 19-21: Outdoor Ed for Middle School Students
Students will leave by 10am on Oct. 19 and plan to be back at school by 2pm on Oct. 21.
