“But as for the seed that fell on rich soil, they are the ones who,
when they have heard the word, embrace it with a generous and good heart, and bear fruit through perseverance." ~ Luke 8: 15 |
...This is what we are about. We plant the seeds that one day will grow.
We water the seeds already planted knowing that they hold future promise.
We lay foundations that will need further development.
We provide yeast that produces effects far beyond our capabilities.
We cannot do everything, and there is a sense of liberation in realizing this.
This enables us to do something, and to do it very well.
It may be incomplete, but it is a beginning, a step along the way,
an opportunity for the Lord's grace to enter and do the rest.
We may never see the end results,
but that is the difference between the master builder and the worker.
We are workers, not master builders, ministers, not messiahs.
We are prophets of a future not our own.

OLOL Fundraising Goals for 2020-2021
We aim above the mark to hit the mark. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
Last year, even with the pandemic, we raised just over $100,000 from our year of giving, including the Fall Tailgate, Raffle, Read-a-thon, Giving Tuesday, and straight donations. We had 100% of our faculty & staff donate, and over 60% of our families contribute to the Annual Fund! This year we hope to reach our goal of 100%!
Unfortunately, tuition does not cover the full cost to educate a child at Our Lady of Lourdes. We rely on additional support from our families, alumni, and parish communities. Our Annual Fund supports teacher retention and professional development, capital improvement to our facility, and further development of our new Discovery Center to provide our students with new opportunities to learn and develop inquiry and design skills. This year OLOL is setting a fundraising goal of $150,000 this year. We are kicking things off with our 100% Support Challenge and later in the fall we will reach out to our community for support on Giving Tuesday. Please consider making your contribution today! |
Why Parents Support OLOL"Though our children have graduated, our family continues to make Lourdes a charitable priority. Our continued support of Lourdes is, in part, a measure of our gratitude. However, our support is not just giving thanks for what the school has done in the past — as important as that is. We also support Lourdes because we greatly value what the school continues to do, and what — given adequate resources — it will do in the future." - Matt Dolan, Father of Lourdes Alumni
Thanks to all the donors who contributed to the 2019-2020 Annual Fund Campaign.

Thank you for being a part of the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School community. Thank you for investing in the children who are here at Lourdes now, and those who will come here one day to learn to read and write, to add and subtract, to dream big, to pray, and to serve God and one another. Your investment in these children of today and those who will follow tomorrow truly is an investment in the future.
