Parents,
I was just talking to a parent and we were wondering if this year would fly by as fast as the last one seemed to for both of us. As I sat down at my desk to write this note to you about all the reminders, events, and general information I want to share with you I thought about things coming up, to do lists that need to be completed, classrooms to visit, lessons to review... and then I thought about the saying "time is what you make it". Time is just time. It doesn't creep by or fly by, it is constant. We perceive the time on an emotional level once the time has gone by or when we are waiting for something or enduring something we feel is unpleasant. I pray that this year we all take the time God has given us each day to find something nice to say to someone else, give an extra hug to a loved one, study for just 10 more minutes than we feel like, say thank you and show appreciation to others, and spend time talking and listening to God. “Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.” ― Mother Theresa Reminders & Information:
